Goa NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the centralized, merit-based state admission process for MD, MS and PG Diploma courses in Goa, administered by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Goa, Porvorim, in affiliation with Goa University. Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, established in 1691, is the state's sole medical institution and there are no private or deemed medical colleges.

1. Goa State Quota (50% Seats)

• 50% of postgraduate seats at GMC Bambolim.
• Reserved for local domiciliaries of Goa or GMC Bambolim MBBS graduates.
• Subsidized fees approx. Rs. 63,344/year total (tuition, library and institutional deposits).

2. All India Quota (50% Seats)

• Remaining 50% of seats surrendered to the All India Quota.
• Open to NEET PG qualified aspirants nationwide on pure merit.
• Managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) via mcc.nic.in.

3. NRI Quota & Special Reservations

• A limited percentage of seats reserved for NRI/Overseas Goan candidates and special reserved categories per Goa Government rules.
• Open to NRI/OCI/PIO candidates and dependents of Goan expatriates meeting the NEET PG qualifying cutoff.
• Fee structure regulated under special DTE Goa admission guidelines for NRI/Overseas candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in Goa NEET PG 2026 state counselling conducted by DTE Goa, candidates must satisfy:

• Qualified NEET PG 2026 with required minimum percentile (50th Gen/EWS, 40th SC/ST/OBC, 45th UR-PwD).
• Recognized MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate from GMC or an NMC-recognized institution.
• Completed/scheduled 12-month rotatory internship by the NMC cutoff.
• Valid medical registration (NMC/Goa Medical Council).
• State Quota: Goa residential/domicile requirement (minimum 10 years residence) or MBBS from GMC Bambolim.
• NRI Quota: valid NRI/OCI/PIO documentation for candidate or sponsor, proof of first-degree relationship if sponsored, and a legal undertaking affidavit of financial responsibility.

How to apply

The Goa NEET PG 2026 State Quota and NRI/Overseas reservation application is conducted online and offline through the Centralized Admission Division of DTE Goa.

• Fill in NEET PG Roll Number, All India Rank, MBBS academic details, internship completion date and quota preference (mark Yes for NRI/Overseas Quota if claiming Category C).
• Pay the state counselling application fee online or via designated demand draft as notified in the prospectus.
• Submit the application with self-attested document copies online or physically at DTE, Porvorim, before the deadline.
• DTE Goa verifies records and publishes the NEET PG Merit cum Allotment List.
• Participate in centralized counselling rounds (online or in-person at DTE Porvorim) to exercise college/specialty choices.
• Collect the provisional admission order, pay the institutional tuition fee, and report physically to GMC Bambolim for final verification and medical fitness examination.
