Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the centralized, merit-based state admission process for postgraduate medical degree and diploma courses (MD, MS, and Diploma) across government, minority, and private medical colleges in the state. The entire counselling procedure is strictly organized and administered online by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal.
Telangana features a dual-channel admission system. 50% of postgraduate seats in Telangana Government Medical Colleges are surrendered to the All India Quota (AIQ) managed centrally by MCC via mcc.nic.in, while the remaining 50% of government seats, local institutional pools, and 100% of seats in private non-minority/minority medical colleges are administered by KNRUHS under state authority.
1. Competent Authority Quota (State Quota / Category A)
- Comprises 50% of the total postgraduate clinical, para-clinical, and pre-clinical seats in Government Medical Colleges, alongside designated Competent Authority seats in private medical institutions (Gandhi Medical College Hyderabad, Osmania Medical College Hyderabad, Kakatiya Medical College Warangal).
- Strictly reserved for candidates who possess a valid Telangana state local/domicile status as per university regulations. Reservation applies for SC, ST, BC (A, B, C, D, E), EWS, and PwD.

3. NRI / Institutional Sponsorship Quota (Category C - Private Colleges)
- Dedicated NRI Quota seats (up to 15% of institutional intake) reserved across private medical colleges in Telangana. Government medical colleges in Telangana do not offer NRI or Management Quota seats for postgraduate courses.
