Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the Chhattisgarh NEET PG 2026 counselling process, aspirants must satisfy the mandatory eligibility rules established by CGDME Raipur:•

• Qualifying Examination: Must have qualified NEET PG 2026 conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) by securing the mandatory minimum qualifying percentile (50th percentile for General/EWS, 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC, 45th percentile for UR-PwD).
• Academic Qualification: Must hold a recognized MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate issued by a medical college recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Compulsory Rotatory Internship: Must have completed or be scheduled to complete the mandatory 12-month rotatory internship on or before the official NMC cutoff date.
• Medical Council Registration: Must hold permanent or provisional medical registration issued by the NMC, Chhattisgarh Medical Council, or any valid State Medical Council.
• Domicile (For Government State Quota): Must possess a valid Chhattisgarh domicile certificate or prove MBBS graduation from a recognized institution located within Chhattisgarh.
• NRI Quota Specific Eligibility::-

o The candidate or the financial sponsor must hold valid NRI, OCI, or PIO. documentation.

o If sponsored by an NRI relative, the sponsor must legally prove a first-degree blood relationship with the candidate.

o The sponsor must execute a legal affidavit undertaking complete financial responsibility for the entire course duration and associated institutional fees.

Online Registration: Visit https://cgdme.in/ or https://cgdme.admissions.nic.in/ during the registration window. Click on "PG (MD/MS) Counselling Registration" and enter your NEET PG 2026 Roll Number, Application Number, Date of Birth, and active  contact details.
2. Payment of Counselling & Security Fee:

Pay the mandatory, non-refundable state counselling processing fee online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card (approx. ₹2,000 for General quota and ₹10,000 for NRI quota). Candidates must also deposit the refundable security deposit according to their institution choices (separate deposit tiers for Government vs. Private Medical Colleges).

3. Form Filling & Quota Selection:

Log in using your registered credentials. Fill in academic history, internship details, and local/non-local status. Check "Yes" for NRI Quota if you wish to compete for Category C seats in private medical colleges.

4. Uploading Scanned Documents:

Upload clear, readable scanned PDFs/images of your NEET PG scorecard, MBBS degree, registration certificate, caste/domicile certificate, and NRI sponsorship affidavits within the specified file size boundaries.

5. Merit List Generation:

CGDME will electronically verify candidate data and release the official CG State NEET PG Merit List.
